Gary Lim brings more than three decades of leadership, operational and project experience across Asia, including nearly three decades building and leading an engineering and project organization in Thailand.
Beginning his career as a chemical engineer, Gary progressed through process engineering, project management and operations leadership before becoming Managing Director of Technip Energies Thailand. His experience spans business leadership, organizational development, project execution and operational performance, with responsibility for multidisciplinary teams of several hundred people and complex engineering and EPC projects.
Throughout his career, Gary has led organizations through periods of rapid growth, restructuring, market downturns, company merger, spin-off and major operational change. This experience has shaped a practical approach to organizational performance : understanding what is really happening inside a business, identifying the underlying causes of problems, and working directly with leaders to turn those insights into action.
At Chordelis Advisory, Gary focuses primarily on organizational diagnostics, troubleshooting and performance improvement. His work is designed for senior leaders who want to be actively involved in resolving issues and driving change—not simply delegate the responsibility to consultants or their teams.
Gary works directly with the leadership team throughout an engagement. He combines structured analysis with conversations across the organization to understand how strategy, leadership, organization, processes and behaviors interact in practice. The objective is not to introduce a generic management framework, but to identify the few issues that matter most and develop practical actions appropriate to the organization.
His approach reflects a simple principle:
